2 Day Gorilla flying Safari in Uganda

This Gorilla flying safari is to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in the South Western part of Uganda. The park is found with in the forest and Bwindi impenetrable forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rain forest and its worldly known for its excellent gorilla sighting opportunities. Bwindi impenetrable national park is a known world heritage site declared by UNESCO because of its breath taking natural beauty and unique ecological significance. The park is a home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas on earth. This park is blessed with other attractions such as the spectacular Virunga volcanoes, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys, steep ridges, bird species, butterflies and lastly the Batwa culture.

DAY 1; FLIGHT TRANSFER ETEBBE – BWINDI
Travel plan: On your arrival at Entebbe airport, you will check in for an afternoon scheduled flight which will spend approximately 2 hrs. to land at Kihihi airstrip.

What to expect: During your flight, you will enjoy the Ariel view of the beautiful landscape and the lushest highland rain forest on earth filled with primates and exotic bird species. Not forgetting valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.

Stay at: On arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will be picked by our professional guide in a safari vehicle and you will be driven to Mountain gorilla view lodge for afternoon relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2; FULL DAY BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Overview: You will start your day with a morning breakfast and get ready to be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing from the UWA staff. A guide will then lead you into the jungle to see the shy primates of the booked group. Please don’t forget to pack your lunch boxes before leaving your lodge as you will be having your lunch from the jungle.

What to expect: Gorilla trekking is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth and this experience lasts from 2-6hrs. Bwindi impenetrable a thick forest montane, you expect the largest population of the rare and endangered Mountain gorillas also known as the gentle giants, forest elephants.

After the exercise: After tracking the gorillas from a closer range in their habitats with the help of the guide, you will return to your lodge and get ready to be transferred to Kihihi airstrip for your flight transfer to Entebbe international airport for your outbound flight.
