6 Day Lake Mburo and Bwindi national parks

Safari Overview 

This amazing safari will start from Entebbe and end in Entebbe. It will begin with a visit at Lake Mburo national park, known for sculptured land scape and grassy hills, plus its lake shores which inhabits a variety of mammals and birds such as buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, hippos, impalas, hyenas, water bucks and reed bucks. After Lake Mburo national park, the journey will continue to Bwindi impenetrable national park located in south western part of Uganda, blessed with attractions such as mountain gorillas, black and white monkeys, green monkeys, not forgetting bird species and butterflies. Let’s not forget the fact that Bwindi is ranked as a world heritage site because of its outstanding significance.

Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe Airport and hotel transfer 

On your arrival at the airport, you will have a meet and greet with our professional guide who will welcome you to our beautiful country and take you to protea hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Our guide will brief you on your trip about the places you will visit and their attractions. Not forgetting to tell you about the time you will set off the next day for your journey. Protea hotel is situated on the Lake Victoria shores, giving you a chance to l enjoy the fresh water breeze

Day 2; Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

After having your early breakfast, you will be picked by our guide to start on your journey to Lake Mburo national park. You will have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for pictures and fruits. You will then proceed with your journey and check in at Rwakobo Rock lodge for your lunch and afternoon relaxation. You will be picked in the evening for a night game drive to see animals such as zebras, lions, lions, leopards, impalas, giraffes and hyenas. You will then be brought back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; Transfer from Lake Mburo to Bwindi impenetrable 

You will have an early breakfast and then be picked to go for a morning boat ride at the lake shores from where you will be able to see animals such as water bucks, birds, plus buffaloes in their day break jungle life. You will then be brought back to your lodge for lunch and then embark on your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will check in at either Silverback lodge or Mahogany springs for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4; Full Day in Bwindi impenetrable national park

You will have an early breakfast and then be picked by our guide who will take you to the park headquarters for briefing about gorillas. You will be grouped into different groups and each group will be led by a professional park ranger into the forest for gorilla trekking from where you will have a chance to track the gorillas from a closer range. And this beautiful experience lasts between 2- 6hrs. You will then be brought back to your lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation. In the evening, you will be picked for an optional village walk around Buhoma area

Day 5; Full Day in Bwindi forest

After having your breakfast, you will be picked for a guided nature walk in the forest so as to track the black and white monkeys, green monkeys, plus seeing different tree species and bird watching. You will be brought back to your lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation, and then be picked in the evening for the Batwa cultural experience to see the life style of the Batwa people. You will then be brought back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6; Transfer from Bwindi to Entebbe 

After enjoying your breakfast, you will be picked to embark on your journey from Bwindi travelling back to Kampala or straight to Entebbe airport for your flight with an en route lunch in Masaka town.
