This 5 days safari will cover Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla tracking and Batwa cultural experience then white water rafting in Jinja to for rafting adventure.
Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in the South Western part of Uganda. The park is found with in the forest and Bwindi impenetrable forest is said to be Africa’s oldest rain forest and its worldly known for its excellent gorilla sighting opportunities. Bwindi impenetrable national park is a known world heritage site declared by UNESCO because of its breath taking natural beauty and unique ecological significance. The park is a home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas on earth. This park is blessed with other attractions such as the spectacular virunga volcanoes, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys, steep ridges, bird species, butterflies and lastly the Batwa culture.

Day 1; Arrival and pick up from the Airport
On your arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will be picked by our professional guide who will transfer you to Fairway hotel in Kampala city for dinner and overnight stay with a city to one of the attractions of your choice in Kampala which is not included in the cost and its optional, though this will depend on your arrival time at the airport.

Day 2; Transfer from Kampala to Jinja
You will start your day with breakfast and get ready for your journey to Jinja for white water rafting. This journey passes through Mabira forest, sugarcane plantations and tea plantations plus road side markets. The journey continues to Kalagala falls for half day white water rafting experience on the Nile River. After this beautiful experience, you will go to Jinja town for lunch and then travel back to Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3; Road transfer from Kampala to Bwindi
You will start your day with breakfast and then start on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. During the journey, you will have a stop over at the Equator in Kayabwe Masaka for photos and fruits and then proceed with the journey. You will have a second stop over in Mbarara town for lunch and then precede up to Bwindi forest Impenetrable national park. On your arrival in Bwindi, you will check in at Gorilla Mist lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4; Gorilla tracking and Batwa culture experience
You will start your day with a morning breakfast and get ready to be transferred to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing from the UWA staff. A guide will then lead you into the jungle to see the shy primates of the booked group. Please don’t forget to pack your lunch boxes before leaving your lodge as you will be having your lunch from the jungle. Gorilla trekking is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth and this experience lasts from 2-6hrs. After tracking the gorillas from a closer range in their habitats with the help of the guide, you will be brought back to your lodge for afternoon relaxation. In the late afternoon, you will be picked to go for a village walk experience around Buhoma area. This village walk gives you a great chance to see how people surrounding the park live their lives. This walk is the most informative and rewarding to the average visitors and trusts me you will be amazed of how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways of life. After the walk, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5; Road transfer from Bwindi to Kampala
This last day will be started with breakfast early in the morning and then start on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International airport for you out bound flight. During your journey, you will have a stopover in Masaka town for lunch and then proceed with your journey.
