DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer from Entebbe airport
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by Alps Trendy Safaris representative who will brief you on the 4 day trip to Queen Elizabeth national park. He will then transfer you to Acactus Hotel or Alfa Hotel Munyonyo Kampala for your dinner and overnight. You will take a rest and get ready for the morning trip to queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 2: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth national park.
After Breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stopover at the equator which is a platform for photography for memories and then proceed. Note that you will have lunch along the way. You will have a game drive en route to view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. In the evening, go for a study of local salt mining by the Local communities around Lake Katwe, where salt is mined. This lake is the major source of salt for the country. Check in at Parkview Safari lodge where you will stay for two nights.
Day 3: Full day at Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, get ready for a game drive in the park. You will expect to see famous animals of elephants and kobs. Expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George. This trip passes through the highest concentration of hippos. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.
